At Palo Alto Reiki, I hold every session, interaction, and relationship with care, integrity, and respect. The principles below guide my work as a Reiki Master Teacher and Energy Healing Practitioner.

Safe and Professional Space

I am committed to creating a respectful, welcoming, and energetically safe environment. Sessions are held in a grounded, structured space where clients can relax, receive, and explore their healing process without pressure or judgment.

Client-Centered Care

I view the healing relationship as a collaborative partnership. I value your voice, intuition, and agency, and invite you to be an active participant in the process. Healing is not something I do to you, it is something we co-create.

Acting in the Client’s Best Interest

Your well-being is always my priority. I make every effort to ensure that my work with you is ethical, thoughtful, and aligned with your needs.

Scope of Practice

While I offer energy healing and intuitive services, I do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Reiki is not licensed by the State of California and is not a substitute for licensed healthcare. I encourage all clients to seek qualified professionals for medical or mental health concerns and never suggest forgoing conventional treatment.

Power Awareness and Integrity

I recognize that my role as a practitioner may create a natural power dynamic. I remain mindful of this and work to maintain integrity within that relationship. Reiki is a self-healing modality, your inner wisdom is the true source of healing. My role is to support your process, not override it.

Professional Boundaries

I maintain professional boundaries with all clients. I do not enter into dual personal relationships and ensure every interaction supports trust, safety, and mutual respect. Healthy boundaries allow meaningful healing work to unfold in a protected and intentional space.

Consent and Shared Responsibility

Consent is central to my work. I explain what to expect during sessions and check in about your comfort. You are always welcome to ask questions, express concerns, or request changes at any time. You remain responsible for your own choices, interpretations, and integration of any insights received.

Confidentiality

All information shared during sessions is kept confidential and will not be disclosed without your written consent, except where required by law. Please note that complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed for sessions conducted over digital platforms such as Zoom.

California Law – Senate Bill 577

Under California’s Health Freedom Act (Senate Bill 577), Reiki is considered a complementary and alternative healing modality and is not licensed by the State of California. Prior to your first session, you will be asked to read and sign a Client Agreement, Acknowledgment, and Consent form. You can read the full bill here:
