November/December 2022 Reflections


During this season of gratitude, I feel called to express my sincerest thanks to each and every one of you reading this. Thank you for trusting me to hold space for your healing. For allowing me to witness both your vulnerability and strength. For partnering with me on this journey of self discovery. For choosing Reiki as a tool in your spiritual growth. For showing up, staying curious, and doing the work. It is my honor and privilege to do what I do. And none of it is possible without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I invite you to take a moment to reflect on what you're feeling grateful for this month. Is that an easy question for you to answer? Or perhaps not. If you're struggling to get in touch with gratitude, start by slowing down and quieting your mind. If it's comfortable for you, close your eyes and tune into your body and breath for a few minutes. From this place of calm, what comes up for you? Allow any negative thoughts that surface to release. You can do this by visualizing the negative thought surrounded in a bubble and floating up and out of you. Watch it float away and see if you notice a sense of relief. Once you are in touch with the feeling of gratitude, what do you notice...Does a particular person or memory come to mind? Do you smile? Feel butterflies in your stomach? Feel warm or flushed? Stay in this feeling as long as you're comfortable. And if you need a giggle about gratitude, I give you Amy Schumer. (Soon we'll chat about toxic positivity!)
